It is now a year since my youngest started school, - when it almost felt I was starting a new business after 5 years working part time! I was raring to go, so within 6 months I had sourced and brought in many new lines and launched an online store.
I am at a contemplative stage now - assessing and planning what might come next.
Part of this process was clearing out my little studio - and I have discovered I have a large amount of working samples and not-quite-but-so-close-shop-quality items.....plus the tiles that are the originals for subsequent coasters/placemats etc.
I aim to clear all of this by Christmas - and donate 50% of the proceeds to be donated to a charity helping relieve the effects of the African Famine.
