I have always made tiles to order, as commissions for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces, commemorative gifts etc etc. In recent years I have made customised tiles for shops, making hand painted tiles with everything from distilleries, castles, bridges and other such landmarks to be sold solely through the individual shops that requested them.
Now that I am supplying coasters and placemats, the natural progression has been to put some of the customised designs onto these.
I am currently working on some sets for private customers, in the meantime, here are a few new examples sent to new customers, '58 degrees north', in Durness, and Visit Scotland in Shetland.
